Codes and Conventions of Radio Adverts

- narrator- male/female - interesting pitch - standard english
- music with no lyrics - relate to the topic or theme
- extracts from documentary
- sound effects e.g. weather
- last 30-40 seconds
- clear beginning an grab the attention
- grab the audience
- assume the voice over is the same person as the documentary voice over, inter cut
- extracts, hint on what is in the documentary and link to it.
- scheduling - different voice
- same theme and slogan - everything should work together
- Post questions
